About Dr. Laureen

Dr. Laureen is well-known as an author, strategist and solutionist™. She is the Founder/CEO of Masterpiece Solutions, LLC, a full-circle coachsulting company. She is a career success and business growth expert and serves as a ‘virtual CEO’ for small and medium-sized companies. Her commitment to promoting women globally is derived from her decade-long involvement in mentoring women and supporting women’s initiatives.

During her tenure in corporate America, she held such positions as executive director, compliance officer, human services director, and project manager. After leaving the corporate world twelve years ago, she continues to draw upon past successes to create a dynamic consulting, coaching and mentoring environment that enables clients to relate to her quickly and professionally.

Dr. Laureen is also the Founder/CEO of the Global Association of High-Achieving Women and the author of the white paper: Women on Corporate Boards. Her motto is: “Operate in an ‘Always Be’ Mode: Always be Leading, Always be Improving, Always be Growing and Always be Giving.”

Her passion is helping high-achieving women whose future is ‘next level’ to lead and communicate effectively, market strategically and brand successfully. She is committed to promoting women locally, nationally and internationally and has decade-long involvement in mentoring women and supporting women’s initiatives.

Dr. Laureen is the recipient of the 2008 Top 25 Influential Women of Houston Spirit of Business Award (Rolling Out Magazine), the 2008 YMCA Greater Houston Minority Achievers Award, the 2007 Business Achievement Pinnacle Finalist Award (Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce) and the National 2007 Stevie© Award (Mentor of the Year). She is 2009 Texas Blazing Star Finalist.

She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology/Christian Counseling, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in General Education. She received a Board Governance and Leadership Certification from Project Blueprint and a Productivity Education Certification from the Academy of Human Potential.

Dr. Laureen’s mantra is: “maintain a positive attitude, learn to overcome obstacles, become a system’s thinker, keep a balance in life, become a teacher/leader, eliminate
